Johannes, Scanlon, Harris And Bleiberg Headline

Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW), announces the line-up of speakers for week 36 of The Dairy Signal™ educational programs.  On tap for this week’s episodes is a look ahead at some of the most important trends in the dairy industry, including sustainability, traceability and changing political environment.

Emily Johannes, Category Manager – Ethical Sourcing, Nestle, will share how the company views global sustainability and how they work with suppliers of high-quality agricultural ingredients to meet consumer demands and ensure long-term business viability.

Teaming up with Johannes is Karen Scanlon, Senior Vice President, Environmental Stewardship, Dairy Management, Inc. Paul Bleiberg, Senior Vice President, Government Relations, National Milk Producers Federation, will provide an insiders perspective on what the dairy industry can expect from Washington D.C. in 2021, including how the change in presidential administration may impact policy, regulatory and market environments.

Finally, Phil Harris, Co-Founder and President, ripe.io, will explain blockchain technology and its potential for dairy producers and the entire industry.

Developed by fellow dairy farmers from the PDPW Board of Directors, The Dairy Signal is a weekly series of free educational episodes offering insights and resources for fellow dairy farmers and other food system professionals throughout the value chain.
