Does Your Dairy Use Robotics? Join This User Group

The Automated Milking Systems User Group is hosting its first meeting on April 9 at the Agriculture Center of Excellence in Wausau from 1-3:30 p.m. The Division of Extension is hosting the user group.

UW Milking Lab Director Prof. Doug Reinemann says farmers will be able to work together to answer questions about their robotic milking systems.

The user group aims to create a supportive community for dairy producers utilizing robotics. It’s an effort to exchange ideas and share best practices related to your robotic systems. It’s also going to give farmers access to experts and contribute to research efforts to improve farming practices. The goal is to enhance productivity, and profitability on the farm using the technology you already have.

There will be three meetings per year. These meetings will be held at various locations throughout Wisconsin, along with optional farm tours.

This first meeting is Tuesday, April 9 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Agriculture Center of Excellence (Northcentral Technical College); 6625 County Road K; Wausau, WI 54401. Room AG 207 located in the Student Engagement Center (Building 200)
