Dodge County Fair To Host Its First Ever Rodeo

Professional cowboys will be strolling into town on June 29 for the first professional Dodge County Rodeo, produced by Rice Rodeo Company. The first two-hour event of its kind will be held from 7-9pm at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. Gates will open at 5pm for general admission, with priority given to advance ticket holders.

Witness high-quality bull riding, rodeo & free-style bull fighting from the grandstands. This is a full IPRA (International Professional Rodeo Association) rodeo event. It is also co-sanctioned with the World Champions Rodeo Alliance. The June 29th event will be held outdoors rain or shine.

Rice Rodeo Company

Rice Rodeo Company is a full-service family-operated rodeo company located in Medford, Wisconsin. With 34 events and 41 performances listed on their 2024 tour schedule, attendees are promised a professional, well-organized rodeo in Beaver Dam. Fans can expect some friendly competition from contenders from start-to-finish.

“We are very excited to come to Beaver Dam for the very first time”, shares David Rice, co-owner of Rice Rodeo Company. “The feedback we have received from the Beaver Dam area has been amazing! We like to bring the extra features you find at a professional bull riding event and also incorporate that into a full rodeo – things like flame throwers, smoke and pyrotechnics, as part of the opening ceremony with a large emphasis on a tribute to our military.”

Attendees are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance for primary access to general admission, grandstand seating. Advance tickets are only $20 for adults and $10 for kids (5-15 years old). Children 4 years and under are FREE. Tickets at the event will be $25 (adults) and $15 (children).

This family-friendly event will keep the whole family engaged. Everyone in the family will be entertained by continuous action, engagement with the crowd and the comedy segments during the event. A children’s activity will also be included in the programming (details and time TBD). Concessions will be available for purchase at the fairgrounds.

Rice Rodeo Company operates as both a full rodeo company and a professional bull riding company. “This will not be your grandfather’s rodeo!”, promises Rice.
