Cranberry Decision Makers Re-Elected

Gabriella Liddane of Tomah and Robert Detlefsen of Wisconsin Rapids have been re-elected to the Wisconsin Cranberry Board. They’ll serve another three-year term.

The Wisconsin Cranberry Board is made up of seven producers from across the state. The board oversees the use of about $500,000 in assessment fees paid by state cranberry producers. The funding goes toward supporting the industry through research, education and promotion of Wisconsin-grown cranberries.

DATCP administers the elections for all market order boards.

Wisconsin is ranked No. 1 in the nation for cranberry production, supplying more than half of the world’s supply.
