Members of the Wisconsin FFA had the special treat of being entertained by the Peterson Farm Brothers Tuesday night at the third general session of the 92nd Wisconsin State FFA Convention. The Peterson Farm Brothers are known worldwide for their agricultural themed music parodies. The Peterson Farm Brothers, Greg, Nathan and Kendall are from central Kansas where they grow beef cattle and crops. During the session, the brothers shared their reasoning behind the videos, behind the scenes footage and even sang along with some of their music videos on stage.

The music parodies all started as the oldest brother, Greg’s, college assignment. The assignment was to think of a new and creative way to advocate for agriculture. One day Greg was singing in his truck and started changing the lyrics to words and phrases about agriculture without noticing. This sparked the idea to make parodies about agriculture. In total, the Peterson Farm Bros have created 24 parodies. Their first video gained over 1 million views in just one week. The Peterson Farm Brothers have made numerous trips to other countries, states, and cities to share their story and spread their message about the importance of advocating for agriculture. The brothers were also a part of the Culver’s booth, who sponsored the Peterson Brothers trip to the convention, at the Career Expo, Wednesday. It was a real treat to have the Peterson Farm Brothers at the Wisconsin State FFA Convention.
