Just 6 months ago Aleena started experiencing some off symptoms, including swollen ankles. Her dad took her to urgent care where she was then directed to the American Family Children’s Hospital. It was there that she was diagnosed with heart failure.

Aleena had an LVAD implanted in her chest prior to undergoing a heart transplant. Today, she is a 15-year-old fighter who inspires everyone with her story.
