World Beef Expo announces that the 2022 World Beef Expo Youth Sweepstakes Contests will be starting January 1. The contests are sponsored by Kalmbach Feeds. The contests are open to all youth. FFA and 4-H youth are encouraged to participate. You do not have to exhibit at the World Beef Expo to qualify. These contests include an essay contest, graphic design contest, livestock judging contest, skillathon and photo contest.
Anyone ages 8-21 as of January 1, 2022 is eligible to participate and all contests are online. The age divisions are Beginner- ages 8-11, Junior- ages 12-15, Intermediate- ages 16-18 andSenior- ages 19-21.
Points will be given for all contests and the top overall youth in each age division will receive a blower provided by Electric Cleaner Company. Top 5 Overall Individuals in each age group will be awarded banners during the Supreme Drive at the 2022 World Beef Expo. All individual contest winners will also receive banners.
The Youth Sweepstakes starts off with the Essay Contest starting January 1. The rules are posted at www.worldbeefexpo.com/sweepstakes and a new contest will start each month. Youth may enter in one or all of the contests!

Each year people from around the country visit Milwaukee for one of the Midwest’s largest cattle expositions – World Beef Expo. Almost 600 exhibitors from 15 states displayed, exhibited, or sold cattle at the 2021 World Beef Expo. The Open and Junior Shows had over 1150 entries. The next World Beef Expo, which takes place September 22-25, 2022 at Wisconsin State Fair Park, will be the 30th year of the show.
