Wisconsin Member Named To NFU Youth Advisory Council

National Farmers Union (NFU) concluded the 2025 All-States Leadership Summit, held in Washington, D.C. They have also released the names of the newly elected members to serve on the National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC).  

Ruby Sheaffer, a member of Wisconsin Farmers Union; Larahmy Blakley, a member of Oklahoma Farmers Union; and Patrick Olson, Madi Raymond, and Brandon Toennies, members of South Dakota Farmers Union, will serve one-year terms on NFU’s NYAC. 

The NYAC is selected each year at the All-States Leadership Summit through a competitive application process. The council works closely with education staff to provide support during NFU’s Annual Convention. As well as help plan the next All-States Leadership Summit, and complete leadership projects in their states. 

All-States Leadership Summit brings students and young adults from across the country to network and learn from agricultural industry professionals. Participants were guided through an immersive educational experience centered around topics including policy advocacy, professional development, and leadership.
