This Fall, Wisconsin Farmers Union (WFU) is hosting two harvest-themed meals around the state. Community members are invited to enjoy local foods from popular area chefs. These events are open to all, but geared toward people who are not currently WFU members.
Wisconsin Farmers Union, along with area chapters, are hosting:
- Northern Fall Harvest Dinner – Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 4 – 7 pm Where: Chickadee Hills Homestead, N6374 8th St, Spooner, WI 54801
- This event includes a farm tour and dinner prepared with local food from Fiddlehead Catering. Ticket cost is $10 per person, with the purchase of a $30 Wisconsin Farmers Union family membership.
- Fall Harvest Luncheon – Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11 am – 1 pm at Glen Park, 361 W Park Street, River Falls, WI 54022
- Local food by Chef Steph’s and information about how to advocate for farmers through WFU policy. Hosted by Pepin/Pierce & St. Croix Farmers Union Chapters. Ticket cost is $10 per person, with the purchase of a $30 Wisconsin Farmers Union family membership.
