WI Red Angus Association Sets Annual Meeting

You’re invited to the Wisconsin Red Angus Association Annual Meeting planned for Sep. 7 at the Jerry and Maryann Huth Farm near Oakfield.

Jerry, his wife Maryann, and the family have been recognized by the National Cattleman’s Beef Association and Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association earning numerous awards for environmental stewardship.

Attendees will also meet Wisconsin DNR Grazing Specialist Mary Anderson and David Trowbridge from Gregory Feedlot. Trowbridge will talk about selling cattle based on genetics vs hide color.

This meeting is in conjunction with an educational program and summer tour, making the trip worthwhile and limiting conflict with the harvest.

Arrive at the farm at 11 a.m. The meeting starts at 11:15 a.m. Lunch is at noon. At 12:30, tours and educational programming begins. The event is set to end by 4 p.m. The event is free. Donations are appreciated.
