The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program, awarding five $1,000 scholarships to Wisconsin high school seniors. Applications will be accepted through Feb. 27.

Scholarships are open to students who are residents of Wisconsin and have a background in the beef, veal, or dairy industry. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a university, technical college, community college, or the Farm & Industry Short Course program. Preference may be given to students majoring in an agriculture-related field or attending a Wisconsin school.

Award recipients are encouraged to attend the WCA Summer Tour, held in June 2026. The annual event features tours of beef-related businesses and an awards ceremony, offering scholarship recipients the opportunity to connect with industry leaders and fellow producers.

To apply, students must submit a completed application, essay, two letters of recommendation, and a high school office enrollment verification form. These items may be mailed to the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association Office (957 Liberty Drive, Suite 201, Verona, WI 53593) or emailed to [email protected].
