WFU hiring for Women Championing Conservation communications role

A collaborative of agricultural and natural resource groups are seeking a communications lead for the new Women Championing Conservation project. Funded by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), this educational endeavor will provide women with the knowledge and resources needed to transform their lives through the incorporation of conservation practices.

The Communications and Public Relations Specialist will be employed half-time on the three-year project. Partners include the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute, Wisconsin Farmers Union, Midwest Organic and Sustainable Educational Service and Renewing the Countryside.

This role includes promoting and developing outreach for the Wisconsin Women Championing Conservation project. The position will be based with Wisconsin Farmers Union and offers an opportunity to work remotely, with some travel to events and meetings.
