Three cooperative leaders in health care, credit unions, and agribusiness received the 2024 Cooperative Builder Award.
During Cooperative Network’s Virtual Annual Meeting on Thursday, the organization honored Dr. Mark Huth, president and CEO of Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin; Brett Thompson, president and CEO of the Wisconsin League of Credit Unions; and Bill Zuhlke, vice president of member services for United Cooperative and former director of business development for Land O’ Lakes, Inc.
Cooperative Network’s highest honor, the Cooperative Builder Award, recognizes individuals who advance cooperative philosophy and ideals locally, statewide, or nationally. A selection committee chooses up to three recipients annually, celebrated during the November annual meeting.
Huth, Thompson, and Zuhlke exemplify cooperative leadership. They’ve mentored others, led by example, and inspired future community leaders.
