Cash lambs were steady again last week. The lamb cutout value was $542.05 last Friday, making it $5.58 higher. The estimated harvest of 40,000 sheep and lambs was 2,000 more than the previous week and 4,000 more than last year. Sheep and lamb harvest was 3% higher last year when compared to 2024, but lamb and mutton production was unchanged due to lighter lamb weights.
