There’s a scholarship available to any student enrolled or intending to enroll in a Wisconsin school to pursue a degree that benefits a specialty crop.
The money can be used for expenses for an internship or educational costs.
Any career — research, education, agronomy, farming, etc. — qualifies as long as it is in a specialty crop field. Specialty crops include potatoes, vegetables, ginseng, Christmas trees, etc.
The selection panel will consider income in addition to merit when it comes to choosing the scholarship recipient.
The student may apply for this scholarship yearly if they provide an update on how it was used previously, as well as submit an application for the current year.
Get the application and more details by contacting specialtyscholarship@gmail.com. The application deadline is May 2.
