Rep. Gary Tauchen – Farming For A Sustainable Future

With climate change at the forefront of conversation, Wisconsin policymakers are looking into ways to make farming more sustainable.

Rep. Gary Tauchen says a new comprehensive program is being developed to improve farm profitability by focusing on Wisconsin agriculture’s carbon energy and water.

This program would tie in the Department of Revenue, and is voluntary and market driven. Starting at the farm, he says we need to enhance whatever we have in the market place simply, and at a low cost.
