Normande Association Celebrates 50 Years in US

This year marks 50 years that Normande cattle have been in the United States. To celebrate this occasion, the North American Normande Association (NANA) in conjunction with their annual meeting and National Show, will be hosting a “Cheers to 50 Years” celebration weekend.

The “Cheers to 50 Years” celebration will be September 20-21, 2024 in Mineral Point, WI. On Friday
night they will be having their annual meeting with a dinner at the Quality Inn & Suites in Mineral Point.The Celebration Committee is looking for pictures to include in the history slideshow, which they will present at the meeting. Saturday will be the National Normande Cattle Show starting in the morning with a breakfast reception,
recognition of the Distinguished Breeder of the Year Award, introduction of Normande Pioneers and then the National Show. A potluck lunch and Silent Auction will also be available during the show. This show is held at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Mineral Point. Dairy Agenda Today will be doing show coverage for NANA this year. The Association will also live-stream the show via their Facebook page.
