New Members On The WFBF YFA Committee

Maryann Gudenkauf, Molly Hendrickson, and Colin and Kellie Scholz have joined Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee.

Their three-year terms begin at the end of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau YFA Conference on Dec. 7.

“The Young Farmer and Agriculturist program empowers members to build leadership skills that actively shape our communities and organization,” says WFBF President Brad Olson. “As a farmer, I’m encouraged by the dedication of the next generation to carry our mission forward.”

Maryann Gudenkauf is a fourth-generation dairy farmer from Watertown. She recently graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in dairy science. She farms alongside her father and brother and works at Rolling Hills Dairy Producers Cooperative as a field representative. Maryann was an active Collegiate Farm Bureau member and is excited to take her involvement to the next level while meeting other young people in the agriculture community.

Molly Hendrickson resides in Hollandale. She currently works for McLanahan Corporation as a marketing communications specialist, where she helps lead marketing initiatives in the agricultural division and supports the sales team and dealers. Molly grew up immersed in agriculture, working on her uncle’s dairy farm and being a 4-H and FFA member. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling and photography. Molly is excited to become more involved in Farm Bureau while growing her network and giving back to an organization that has already given so much to her.

Colin and Kellie Scholz live along the Polk-St. Croix County line. They share their home with two dogs as well as a herd of beef cattle. They practice regenerative agriculture on their farm and mentor six students showing beef at their local county fair. Kellie works remotely for a software company. Colin works at a dairy farm. In their spare time, they enjoy fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. Kellie currently serves as a director on the Polk Burnett Farm Bureau board and looks forward to connecting with fellow YFA members.
