Milton FFA student leaders host an ag scavenger hunt for your family

Although most students are now four or five generations removed from the farm; the Milton High School FFA Student Leaders and Rock County Farm Bureau Ag in the Classroom (AITC)  program thinks it’s important to reconnect students to agriculture.

That’s why they are  focusing on agricultural facts by hosting  “Farmers Grow; Food brings everyone to the table” Virtual Scavenger Hunt  a free, educational, fun, socially-distance family activity that highlights the importance of Wisconsin Agriculture in Milton March 20 – April 5, 2021.

No matter where you live in Rock County, most items you use every day begin on a farm. “Farmers Grow; Food brings everyone to the table” Virtual Scavenger Hunt  uses Agricultural Literacy focusing on Wisconsin’s top 24 Agricultural Commodities in Partnership with local businesses.  AITC and The Milton High School  FFA student leaders  invite  you in to discover all the ways Wisconsin farmers and ranchers impact your life.

Scavenger Hunt clues will be launched on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 3p.m.  Families are encouraged to find all of the scavenger hunt sites.

While participating with the Scavenger hunt, snap a selfie photo  at each of community  locations and post to the Milton FFA Facebook Page and/or  Rock County Farm Bureau Facebook Page.  Discover all of the commodity farm facts locations to see just how much agriculture is involved in your life.
