The Wisconsin all milk price for July 2023 was $15.50 per hundredweight (cwt) according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service – Agricultural Prices report.
This was 70 cents below last month’s price and $8.90 below last July’s price.
The U.S. all milk price for July was $17.40 per cwt, $1.90 higher than Wisconsin’s price but 50 cents lower than last month’s U.S. price.
The Chicago Mercantile Exchange 40‐pound block cheese price closed at $1.9925 per pound on August 31, while barrels were $1.8600 per pound. The CME butter price was $2.4650 per pound.
For the week ending August 26, the Agricultural Marketing Service U.S. weekly 40‐pound block cheese price averaged $1.99 per pound, and 500-pound barrels adjusted to 38 percent moisture averaged $1.85 per pound. The U.S. butter price averaged $2.69 per pound.
