Three collegiate students have been selected as WFBF’s Event Ambassadors. In the inaugural year of this program, Breanna Cisketti, Claire Esselman and Katrina Hoesly will use digital platforms to share highlights from the WFBF Annual Meeting & YFA Conference. This conference will take place December 1-4, 2023 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells.
The goal of the ambassador program is to provide collegiate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering an event while also having a strong social media presence for a unique audience. These positions require writing skills relevant to social media, the ability to capture and edit photos, an understanding of social media content creation and strategy, and an eye for capturing the most interesting stories within a fast-paced environment.
Breanna Cisketti is a sophomore at UW-Platteville studying agribusiness with an emphasis in communications and marketing. She is a member of the UW-Platteville Collegiate Farm Bureau, serving as the Agriculture in the Classroom Chair. Breanna is originally from Polo, Ill. and is an Illinois Farm Bureau member.
Claire Esselman is a freshman at UW-Madison studying agricultural economics. She grew up on a hog and grain farm near Clinton, Wis. Claire is a UW-Madison Collegiate Farm Bureau member who is passionate about agricultural advocacy.
Katrina Hoesly is a senior at UW-River Falls studying agricultural marketing communications and agribusiness. Katrina is from Denmark, Wis. where she is the sixth generation on her family’s dairy farm. She is a member of the UW-River Falls Collegiate Farm Bureau, serving as the reporter.
