Fed lamb prices were $3-$4/cwt lower last week with market ewes $11/cwt lower. The cutout was $1.11 higher at $676.47. Sheep and lamb harvest was estimated to be 34,000, 2,000 head fewer than both the previous week and the same week last year. July lamb and mutton production was 12% lower than last year with harvest down 9%. The average liveweight was four pounds lower than last year at 111 pounds.
