An expert panel on Sept. 16 will examine how President Trump’s tariffs are affecting the Wisconsin economy.
The moderated panel discussion will be part of a WisPolitics-State Affairs luncheon at the Madison Club, 5 East Wilson St. The event is co-organized by the Wisconsin Technology Council and WisPolitics, a nonpartisan news organization covering state politics and government.
The panelists:
–veteran farm broadcaster Pam Jahnke, director at the Midwest Farm
Report Network;
–Buckley Brinkman, executive director and CEO of the Wisconsin Center
for Manufacturing & Productivity;
–Roberta Oldenburg, director of business development for science and
tech at Findorff construction.
—-Menzie Chinn, an economics professor in UW-Madison’s La Follette
School of Public Affairs who studies macroeconomic issues and policies.
The buffet luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m., with the moderated program going from noon to 1 p.m.
