Sheep and Lamb

The estimated sheep and lamb harvest last week was 40,000 head for the third consecutive week, making it 4,000 more than last year.  The cutout value was $514.01 last Friday compared to $498.72 the previous week. Cash lambs and market ewes were both called firm. New crop lambs were higher, selling from $200 -$238/cwt.
