The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Dairy & Farm Management Teams are hosting a webinar to teach about Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) and Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) & Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs.
The webinar will take place on February 5th, 2025 at 1PM.
The presentations to look forward to are:
- Leonard Polzin, a Dairy Markets and Policy Outreach Specialist, will talk about Dairy Margin Coverage. This program helps dairy farmers manage risks like low milk prices and high feed costs.
- Silvanus Gaku, a Farm Financial Management Outreach Specialist, will discuss the ARC and PLC programs. These programs provide financial help to farmers when their revenue or commodity prices fall below certain levels.
