As summer slips away, seize the opportunity to learn and enjoy fishing with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR)’s Fishmobile. Join DNR staff, volunteers, and the University of Wisconsin – Madison Fishing Team for late summer and early fall fishing clinics.
Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve your skills, these clinics offer a variety of fishing techniques. Try your hand at fly fishing for lively bluegills in Monona Bay on August 7, or hone your spincasting skills throughout the season.
The Fishmobile provides loaner fishing tackle and bait, ensuring you have everything you need for a successful outing. All ages are welcome, though children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
For anglers aged 16 and up, a fishing license is required. New or returning anglers who haven’t held a fishing license in over 10 years can obtain one online for just $5, making it easy and affordable to participate.
