Five local farms have come together to host the 3rd Annual Fall Farm Hop event. This event will highlight the diverse, local agricultural offerings available right in your own backyard. Fall Farm Hop encourages the community to “hop” to each of the participating farms on September 24th from 11AM – 4PM. Participants can explore the farms, meet the farmers, learn about the wide range of agricultural products they offer, and have a day filled with fall farm fun.
Participants can pick up a “passport” at any of the participating farms to have punched as they visit each farm. They can then turn in the passport at the last farm they visit to be entered to win prizes. These prizes are donated by each farm.
The five farms participating are; Burr Oak Gardens, Rio; Creek Bed Farmacy, Poynette; Lapacek’s Orchard, Poynette; Sassy Cow Creamery, Columbus; and Wells Farms Premium Beef, Rio. Each farm will be participating in different ways. Some will be offering interactive activities, food, live music, unique shopping experiences, and more.
