The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is now accepting nominations for three seats on the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board. This board plays a key role in supporting soybean research, education, and market development in the state.
Soybean producers from the following districts are eligible to nominate or be nominated:
- District 3: Adams, Crawford, Grant, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Sauk, and Vernon counties
- District 4: Columbia, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Waushara, and Winnebago counties
- District 5: Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Rock counties
“Serving on the board is a great way for producers to have a voice in Wisconsin’s soybean industry,” said a DATCP representative. “We encourage growers to step forward and help shape the future of soybean farming.”
Producers can request nomination forms by contacting DATCP Market Orders staff at DATCPMarketOrders@wisconsin.gov before May 30, 2025. Completed forms must be signed, postmarked by May 30, 2025, and include signatures from five eligible soybean growers other than the nominee. Forms should be mailed to:

DATCP will conduct the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board election from July 10 through August 15, 2025. Elected members will begin their three-year terms on September 1, 2025.
