Have an innovative idea to share the story of modern dairy? A dairy exhibit or project that needs updating? A youth education program needing extra support? A project to enhance water quality, soil health, or sustainability in your community?
Dairy’s Foundation is now accepting grant applications for up to $10,000. The application deadline is December 1, 2024, and submissions are welcomed from across the U.S. Nonprofits and organizations creating programs to educate students or dairy producers are encouraged to apply. Programs that build public trust in dairy products and practices are also eligible.
Previous Grants
Previous grants have funded museum exhibits on dairy, public outreach at fairs and expos, youth dairy training programs, and more.
These kits are used in Little Medical School programs nationwide, donated to community centers, schools, hospitals, and other organizations, and are available for retail purchase.
“Talking about animal care and veterinary careers helps introduce STEM concepts to students who might not be interested in coding or robotics. It’s also important for students to understand how milk is produced and animals are cared for,” said Dr. Mary Mason, founder of Little Medical School. “The Dairy’s Foundation grant was invaluable in developing this new kit and in helping us donate kits to programs nationwide.”
