Grill ‘N’ Chill At Walworth County Fair

FFA chapters from throughout Walworth County have joined efforts to launch the new Walworth County FFA Grill ’n’ Chill at the Walworth County Fair. Located across from the grandstand at the south end of the food stand building, the FFA Grill ’n’ Chill features grilled cheese sandwiches – available in cheddar or swiss – as well as creamy chocolate milkshakes. Sandwiches and shakes are just $3 each or 2 for $5 – in any combination. Funds raised at the FFA Grill ‘n’ Chill will support agriculture education and FFA programs in Walworth County.

The FFA Grill ’n’ Chill’s family-friendly menu showcases the state’s $45.6 billion dairy industry through its use of Wisconsin dairy products – including natural, sliced cheese from Sargento Foods, butter from Foremost Farms USA, and shake mix from Prairie Farms Dairy. Sargento, located in Plymouth, is a family-owned business that has been a leader in cheese since 1953. Today, Sargento manufactures and markets shredded, sliced and snack natural cheese products, as well as ingredients and sauces. Foremost Farms is a world-class supplier of cheese, butter and dairy ingredients to national and international markets. Its 1,000 member-owners supply high-quality milk from their farms to this Baraboo-based cooperative. Founded in 1938, Prairie Farms is a farmer-owned cooperative made up of more than 900 farm families – many from southern Wisconsin. Prairie Farms produces high-quality dairy products – including milk, butter, cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese and ice cream – for families throughout the Midwest.
