Are you looking to arrange your affairs to live well in your later years and ensure your end-of-life plans follow your wishes? It can be a challenging task, but Dodge County Extension is here to help.
Planning AHEAD is a new class from the UW-Madison Division of Extension, designed to
address all aspects of end-of-life planning.
In an engaging one-and-a-half-hour in-person class, Extension and Aging & Disability Resource Center educators will guide you through:
- Examining health care wishes
- Managing financial responsibilities
- Understanding legal requirements and documentation
- Distributing personal property
- Making end-of-life decisions
- Dealing with grief and its emotional ramifications
This program is perfect for individuals of all ages. Whether you’re planning for your own future to
make things easier for family members or dealing with the loss of a loved one, Planning AHEAD is
can support you.
The course features a comprehensive planning workbook to help you organize the tasks and documents associated with end-of-life decisions. By working through these sessions, you’ll find that financial, health care, and other decisions become much more manageable.
Dodge County residents are invited to join Planning AHEAD, a free in-person course facilitated by Pattie Carroll from UW Extension Dodge County, along with Amanda Higgins and Jordan Eberhardt from the ADRC of Dodge County.
