Get Farm Help at USDA Event in Barron County

The Barron County USDA—Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), in partnership with Go Farm Connect, will host an in-office event on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 4:30–6:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Barron County Government Center, Room 110, located at 335 E Monroe Ave, Barron, WI 54812.

This event will introduce farmers to financial and technical resources designed to help farm businesses grow. Staff will be available to provide information on USDA farm loans, crop insurance, infrastructure cost-shares, and planning tools. These resources benefit both farmers and landowners of all sizes.

Matt Hardy and Bonnie Warndahl from Go Farm Connect, along with FSA and NRCS staff, encourage all farmers, especially beginning farmers, to attend. The event is open to residents of Barron, Eau Claire, Polk, Chippewa, and Dunn counties. Translation services will be available upon request at registration.
