The 2024 Supreme Exhibitor award is based on a junior exhibitor’s overall achievements at the Wisconsin State Fair from points earned in the Junior Sheep show, Quiz contest, Communication contest, and Showmanship.
Andrew Formo is the 2024 Wisconsin State Fair Sheep Supreme Exhibitor!
Formo’s involvement with raising Southdown sheep started 14 years ago. The first time that he stepped into the show ring was as a fourth grader at his county fair. Since then, he has shown sheep all around the country.
In addition to showing four years in the Wisconsin State Fair Junior show, Formo has participated in the Open Show for 10 years. His family has had so much fun at the Wisconsin State Fair that it has become his family’s favorite week of the summer where they get to catch up with friends, play cards, and eat lots of food.
Formo is currently a junior at Barneveld High School and hopes to attend Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri before going to law school. His family looks to continue raising Southdown sheep until Andrew and his brother, Caleb, are done with school.
