Foremost Farms Earns Top Marks In Dairy Contest

Wisconsin-based cooperative Foremost Farms took home top marks in several categories at the 2024 National Milk Producers Federation Championship Cheese Contest.

Foremost Farms represents hundreds of Midwest dairy farmers across seven Midwest states, including America’s Dairyland, Wisconsin.

The Championship Cheese Contest showcases and evaluates cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and butter entries from NMPF’s cooperative members from across the U.S. Foremost Farms achieved 30 top 10 finishes in the cheese and butter categories, clinching three first-place awards, including the top honor for best Italian cheese.

  • Mozzarella – LMPS 3 – 1st
  • Provolone non-smoked (best Italian) – 1st
  • Provolone reduced fat – 1st
