Pack your camp chair and join Wisconsin Women in Conservation for a summer afternoon. WiWiC is hosting a field day on June 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Misty Dawn Farm in Janesville.
All women farmers, landowners, and conservationists are welcome to attend– whatever your background, from beginners to experts. If you’re curious about regenerative agriculture or growing mushrooms, this is the field day for you.
Host Ingrid Daudert is doing it all from mushrooms and maple syrup to fruit, berries, and nut production. In addition to catching up with her, resource experts will also be in attendance. This includes Lauren Soergel and Savannah Warwick from the Natural Resources Conservation Service; Monique Nelson from the Farm Service Agency; and Noemy Sorrano from the Michael Fields Agricultural Institute.
The event is free to attend but registration is required and space is limited: https://www.wiwic.org/event-details/field-day-misty-dawn-farm
