Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center will celebrate spring break with extended hours from Tuesday, March 25 to Saturday, March 29. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., families can explore and engage in hands-on science activities.
This year’s spring break will spotlight science and agriculture. This will offer guests the chance to participate in unique interactive experiments each day. Attendees are encouraged to visit multiple days to experience the full lineup of featured activities.
Continue the experience with a self-guided tour through interactive exhibits. During these guests can drive a combine simulator, shape watersheds in the sand table, and follow the journey of a cranberry. A visit to the Land O’Lakes Birthing Barn offers the chance to meet a dairy cow up close. It also provides the possibility to witness the birth of a calf.
In addition, teachers will receive free admission throughout the week. This makes spring break the perfect time to explore a fun and educational field trip opportunity for students of all grade levels.
The Wisconsin Café will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., serving breakfast, lunch, and homemade soups.
All spring break activities are included in the price of general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk or in advance at farmwisconsin.org. The website also includes information on memberships, which provide free admission for a whole year.
