Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF) is seeking students with an interest in agricultural communications to join the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Event Ambassadors. Three students will be selected to serve on this year’s Event Ambassador team. Preference is given to Collegiate Farm Bureau members, but students from all campuses are encouraged to apply.
Event Ambassadors will use WFBF’s digital platforms to share highlights from the WFBF Annual Meeting & YFA Conference, Dec. 6-9 2024 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Wisconsin Dells. They will collect content including photos, videos and social media posts to engage the Farm Bureau membership. They will also tell the stories coming out of this year’s conference.
The goal of the ambassador program is to provide collegiate students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience covering an event while also having a strong social media presence for a unique audience. These positions require writing skills relevant to social media, the ability to capture and edit photos, an understanding of social media content creation and strategy, and an eye for capturing the most interesting stories within a fast-paced environment.
Interested candidates should complete the form by Friday, September 20, 2024. Applicants will be notified of their status no later than Friday, October 4, 2024.
