At the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, preparations are starting for community U-Pick Days.
You can join for planting! On May 18, from 9-11 a.m., the Food + Farm Exploration Center will plant sweet corn in its demonstration fields, weather permitting.
Learn firsthand the planting techniques it takes to grow the sweet corn that is a regular addition to summertime dinner tables. After watching the sweet corn planting, one of our agricultural staff members with over 40 years of experience will be available for educational opportunities. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions about the process, equipment, land, and everything else that goes into growing sweet corn.

The exploration center will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
