Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association recently announced the promotion of Julie Klitzke to the position of Chief Administrative Officer, CAO, effective immediately. Klitzke has been an invaluable member of the executive team since 2018, demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and expertise in her role as Executive Assistant to the cooperative’s executive team.
“Julie has consistently proven to be a highly capable and resourceful professional,” said Curt Larson, President and CEO. “In her new role as Chief Administrative Officer, Julie will bring her extensive experience and skills to further enhance our operational efficiency and executive support. We are confident that she will continue to drive excellence and innovation within the cooperative.”
As CAO, Klitzke will oversee administrative operations, cooperative governance and strategic planning as well as ensure the cooperative maintains its high standards of operational excellence. In addition, she will continue to provide critical support to the executive team, facilitating effective communication and coordination across the cooperative.

Klitzke has a proven history of working with our executive team, staff and local shipping associations to devise and implement strategies and policies to meet the goals of our cooperative. She has been in the role of Executive Assistant for the past six years and continues to demonstrate her ability to facilitate and oversee the cooperative’s daily administrative operations.
