Double S Dairy Wins Environmental Stewardship Award

At the 2024 National Milk Producers Federation’s annual meeting, Double S Dairy was honored for environmental stewardship. Double S Dairy, based in Markesan, was recognized for its leadership in sustainability and stewardship. The farm received the prestigious 2024 FARM Excellence Award for its outstanding contributions. This award, presented by the FARM Program, highlights farms and evaluators exceeding industry standards. It celebrates innovation and continuous improvement in dairy farming practices. Double S Dairy stood out among other leaders in sustainability, stewardship, and workforce development. Their commitment to excellence sets a high standard in the industry.

Double S Dairy is a patron of Saputo Cheese USA, Inc., and was honored for their commitment to implementing innovative, sustainable practices that protect the environment while advancing farm-level operations. This recognition underscores their leadership in environmental responsibility within the dairy industry.
