Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin (DFW) appoints Ben Miller as the Senior Vice President of Industry Relations. In this role, Miller will lead relationship building and development with dairy and agriculture industry organizations, leaders, and stakeholders. His primary focus will be on ensuring the delivery of information and insights for DFW and the state’s dairy farmers. With the ultimate goal of building trust and expanding markets through education.
“Miller brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He had a two-decade successful career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There he excelled in creating new partnerships and leveraging opportunities to advance a larger strategic mission,” says Chad Vincent, CEO of DFW. “His expertise, knowledge, and relationship-building abilities will be invaluable in his new role at DFW.”
For the past eight years, Miller served as the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Assistant Vice Chancellor for Government Affairs and Strategic Partnerships. In this role he was overseeing all government relations: state, federal, local, and tribal. Miller’s extensive background in government relations will be instrumental in fostering partnerships with key stakeholders. These include farmers, processors, and industry organizations. By working together, these partnerships will help drive innovation, increase market access, and promote the economic vitality of Wisconsin’s dairy sector.
“I am honored to join the outstanding team at DFW. That has been a leader in creating positive momentum for Wisconsin’s dairy industry,” says Miller. “Recognizing the strength and vibrancy of the state’s dairy ecosystem, I aim to collaborate and cultivate relationships. The relationships will support DFW’s mission to grow partnerships, trust, and enhance markets for our dairy farmers.”
