After 52 years of providing soil testing, Dairyland Laboratories has sold their Agronomy Services located in Stratford, WI to AgSource Cooperative Services. Agronomy Services include soil testing, soil sampling, plant tissue testing, agronomy manure testing, & nutrient management plan writing. The effective date of the sale was March 22nd.

Following the effective date, agronomy services will be provided by AgSource from the Stratford laboratory location. Dairyland will continue to provide feed and forage testing at the same location for the time being. Further information on Dairyland’s new feed and forage lab in Stratford will be forthcoming.

The decision to sell the Agronomy Services business was a difficult one, primarily driven by the escalating cost such as IT, product development etc. In addition, AgSource will provide Dairyland’s talented staff opportunities to enhance their careers. As a long-standing provider of agricultural laboratory analyses and consulting services throughout the Midwest and beyond, AgSource looks forward to enhancing its network while providing the same quality service customers have come to trust at Dairyland.

In evaluating options, they chose to work with AgSource. There is long history of cooperation between Dairyland and AgSource as we share common values of producing accurate results, with sound business integrity and a focus on customer service. It is important to us that you continue to receive that level of service.

For the spring soil testing season, customers can continue using Dairyland’s web systems including esample submission and report downloading from our Sample Management Center. Invoicing for services after March 22nd, will come from AgSource.

They thank their customers for their business over the years and encourage them to use AgSource for all their agronomy services.
