The sixth annual Dairy Summit is set for Nov. 18 at UW-River Falls, bringing together students, researchers, and dairy industry leaders for a day of learning and collaboration.
The free, public event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the UW-River Falls University Center and will also be livestreamed for virtual attendees. Sessions will later be posted to YouTube. Free parking is available for off-campus visitors.
This year’s summit highlights the Dairy Innovation Hub’s newest research projects and student success stories. A dedicated workforce development session will feature students who have benefited from Hub-supported research, grants, and networking opportunities.
Afternoon tours will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the UW–River Falls Dairy Pilot Plant, Meat Plant, and Humane Handling Institute, showcasing Hub-funded facilities and innovations.
A pre-conference reception will take place Nov. 17, at Tattersall Distillery, featuring guest speaker David Lenzmeier, CEO of Actus Nutrition (formerly Milk Specialties Global).
