Corn Harvest Is Nearly Complete

Wisconsin had 5.9 days suitable for fieldwork statewide for the week ending November 23, 2025, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Central and southern areas of the state received some moisture. Fall field work is mostly done, although some corn remains to be harvested.

Topsoil moisture condition rated 11 percent very short, 33 percent short, 56 percent adequate, and 0 percent surplus.

Subsoil moisture condition rated 10 percent very short, 29 percent short, 60 percent adequate, and 1 percent surplus.

Corn for grain was 90 percent harvested. Corn moisture at harvest was reported at 18 percent.
Winter wheat was 92 percent emerged.

Winter wheat condition was rated 70 percent good to excellent, up 1 percentage
point from last week.
