The Wisconsin Corn·Soy Expo is ready to entice senses and make its mark on all attendees.
The Wisconsin Soybean Association, Wisconsin Corn Growers Association, and Wisconsin Pork Association cohost the Corn·Soy Expo. They’ll be taking over the Kalahari Resort Feb. 6-7 with an agenda filled with opportunities.
“This year WSA is excited to bring attendees an experience they haven’t had before with the theme ‘Making Our Mark’,” says WSA President Sara Stelter.
The show features keynote speaker Eric Snodgrass, an atmospheric scientist. He’ll provide valuable insight to keep farmers informed about the weather impacting their crops. Keynote and well-known comedian Greg Warren will provide the laughter. Warren has appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “The Late Late Show on CBS,” and “Last Comic Standing. He’s built a strong fan base with an act inspired by his Midwestern upbringing and novice understanding of agriculture.
“The ag economy is presenting a lot of challenges, and laughter is the best medicine,” says Tanner Johnson who represents Wisconsin on the American Soybean Association. “There’s nothing wrong with celebrating and having some camaraderie and laughs at our own expense.”
Bringing in more than 120 companies, the two-day trade show also covers the latest hot topics in agriculture. This includes mental health, trade policy, SoyFoam, farm succession planning, and more. In addition, Wisconsin Corn is hosting a special 50th anniversary celebration Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. All three event hosts will hold their annual meetings on Feb. 6.
“This event brings our industries together to showcase the latest innovations and connect with producers, offering invaluable opportunities for growth and collaboration,” says WCGA President James Giese. “Wisconsin Corn is very excited to be celebrating 50 years of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association at this year’s Corn·Soy Expo.”
