Consumer Trends And Heat Are Headliners

Professional Dairy Producers® (PDPW), announces the line-up of speakers for week 61 of The Dairy Signal™. Episodes this week feature consumer behavior insights, strategies for heat abatement, and a market update.

Charlie Arnot, CEO of The Center for Food Integrity and president of Look East, will provide an update on consumer trends and perceptions of new technologies in the food industry.

Dr. Geoffrey E. Dahl, Harriet B. Weeks Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at the University of Florida, will review the impact of heat stress on every aspect of dairy operations and practical management strategies as temperatures climb.

Dan Basse, Economist and President of AgResource Company, will return for his bi-weekly update on ag markets and trends.

Developed by fellow dairy farmers from the PDPW Board of Directors, The Dairy Signal is a weekly series of free educational episodes offering insights and resources for fellow dairy farmers and other food system professionals throughout the value chain. The episodes air live from 12:00-1:00 PM CT each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; recorded sessions are available later in the day.
