‘Coffee Chat’ Coming Up In January

University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension, Heart of the Farm-Women in Agriculture will be hosting a Coffee Chat, Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022 at 12– 1 p.m. on Strategic Thinking: Using a SWOT Analysis for Personal and Business Growth. 

During this January session, Stephanie Plaster, Extension Regional Farm Management Educator, will walk through how to assess yourself and your business for strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats and use them to develop strategies to achieve your goals and improve decision-making.

Future speakers and date: Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, 12-1 p.m. Sam and Jenn Zimmerman owners of On-Q Holsteins, in Marathon County will discuss how they have diversified their Dairy Farm Enterprise to promote local farming businesses. 

The Heart of the Farm-Women in Agriculture Coffee Chats series is an Extension program that addresses the needs of farm women by providing education on farm business topics, connecting them with agricultural resources and creating support networks. Support and funding provided by UW-Madison Division of Extension, the University of Wisconsin Center for Dairy Profitability, and Greenstone Farm Credit Services.
