Food, football spirit, and community giving come together as Sips & Slices returns with a game-day twist. The event, set for Sunday, Sep. 14, will feature teams of local chefs and celebrities competing for the title of Best Tailgate Slice.
Guests can sip their favorite drinks and sample savory tailgate-inspired bites while casting votes for their favorite creations. General admission tickets are $100 and include tastings, two voting tickets, and one drink token, with doors opening at 1 p.m.

Those looking for an upgraded experience can purchase a $150 VIP Pre-game Party ticket, which begins at noon. VIP guests will enjoy reserved parking, unlimited canned beer, hard seltzer, and soda, plus an exclusive bourbon tasting with J. Henry & Sons. The highlight of the VIP package is a live cooking demonstration, Q&A session, and photo opportunity with Chef Jake Lawler, known from Yes, Chef! Each guest will also take home exclusive recipes and sample appetizers.
Sips & Slices will also feature a silent auction, wine pull, and paddle raise, with proceeds going directly to support The River Food Pantry as it works to meet record demand for food assistance in Dane County.
Table sponsorships are available, starting at $825 for a reserved table of eight with general admission tickets, or $1,250 for the full VIP experience.
