Cash Lambs Hold Steady

Lamb

Cash lambs were steady again last week. The lamb cutout value jumped $8.03 from the previous Friday to $555.28. Sheep and lamb harvest was estimated at 38,000 last week, which is 1,000 fewer than the previous week and 4,000 fewer than the same week last year. New crop lambs brought $160-$270/cwt, with some to $280/cwt.
