Campaign Underway To Benefit Educational Dairy Programs

For the fifth year, a friendly competition is underway to raise funds to support educational programs for the dairy community. Professional Dairy Producers Foundation (PDPF), also known as Dairy’s Foundation, launched the annual “Plant a Seed, Inspire A Dream” campaign on February 1 and will run through April 30.  

The funds raised through the campaign will directly support the creation of new and sustainable dairy leadership resources and educational programs. Dairy’s Foundation contributes to programs across the nation with an objective of creating a positive impact through professional development and lifelong learning.

The 2022 campaign goal is $70,000 with four teams of dairy producers and industry professionals competing to raise the most funds. Donations can be made at www.dairyfoundation.org, with the option to “vote” for a specific team.

The 2022 Plant a Seed teams include: 

Team Inspire: Captain Steven Vale, Members Sonia Rarick, Pete Curran, Kim Keesey, Mark Diederichs

Team Impact: Captain Floyd Sutton, Members Tom Lohr, Matt Repinski, Kim Bremmer, Jon Rasmussen

Team Dream: Captain Brian Forrest, Members Jim Mlsna, Mitch Breunig, Charlie Crave, Jeff Monstma, Keith Engel, Andrew Skwor, Steve Orth

Team Vision: Captain Joan Behr, Members Somula Schwoeppe, Nick Luth, Christina Winch, Marty Hallock
